Winter Weekend in LBI!

We had a wonderful time in LBI last weekend!!! I got to explore this place called a "Beach" for the first time! I loved the sand, and kept rolling around in it! It felt great!!! Everything smelled so interesting that I sniffed and sniffed and sniffed! So many new and exciting smells!
I loved looking at the ocean but not really getting wet! The best part about it was scaring all the birds!!! Hee hee... I would come up behind them and run really fast and they would all fly away! It was great!
I rested a lot too! Very nice trip!!!

More Friends in Wharton!

I had a wonderful time in Wharton again today! This is my friend Dale! He loves to pet me and give me lots of love! It's really fun to visit at Wharton because everyone pets me and rubs me! Some of the people say I am "just a big teddy bear"! I am a little unsure about that... I think I look pretty different than Connor's White Bear and Mama's Bears Christopher & Austin. Hmm...
Anyway, I had a good time with my friends. When we were leaving there was this little tiny, yet quite ferocious dog named Lucy coming into the building from a walk. Mama and Papa made me sit! Then Lucy walked over to me and was sniffing me all over! Can you believe I had to sit while she was allowed to do that to me? It was mortifying!!! Truly! But they said I was "Amazing! Awesome! Such a good girl!" I got so much loving, I have to say that maybe it was worth the embarrassment. Yeah, I think it may have been...
A good time in Wharton for sure!

Working on my "skills" again...

We headed back to Horsehoe Lake today to work on my skills which apparently need a lot more work. We did lots of the following: heel, sit, down, come, leave it and the list goes on and on. Back and forth a lot between heel and sit and down and heel.
I really had to seriously pay attention or I'd miss a command. No sniffing around the grass for me today! Nope. But, I think I'm improving because I got lots of loving and "good girl Casey's", which is a very good sign. Boy am I tired now!

Trip to the Bank!

Today I went to the Bank with Mom. It's not too bad going there, except I don't really like the noise the little tube makes when it goes through that funky machine. There is also this voice that comes through little holes and talks to us. I'm not real sure about that either. I do like that when the tube is all done and comes back, it always has a treat for me in it! It takes quite a while for me to feel comfortable enough to eat the treat. I usually lie down in the back seat the entire trip home before I eat it! I'm just a little too nervous about this whole thing with the bank.

Connor's cousins in LBI!

I enjoyed staying in LBI with my family, including two of Connor's younger cousins, Julia 7, and Jonathan, 4. We had a really fun time hanging out together. We played with my football bone, cuddled and ran around together. It was really fun! They are great!

Trip to LBI!

Boy did I have a wonderful time in
LBI! I have never felt sand before and it was a blast! It is so cool and soft! I loved stretching out in it, rolling around in it and otherwise completely immersing myself in it! Unfortunately they do not allow dogs on the beach during the summer, or I would have been living it up ON the actual beach... ah well. Maybe some other time! I had a fantastic time hanging out at the "beach house" which has lots of sand, sea oats, and lots of birds, and other fun animals to keep track of. I also loved barking and keeping watch over the people walking back and forth to the trolley! Kept me busy working most of the day! And they call this a vacation? Hmph!

Hanging with Connor's pals in NC!

This Summer I had a great time traveling to NC to visit some of Connor's buddies, Christopher and Andrew. We had so much fun playing together. My favorite thing was running all over their backyard chasing bunny rabbits! I really liked playing ball with the boys too! These boys loved petting me and giving me tummy rubs! Not such a bad deal! Maybe next time they can come to NJ to visit me! Save me the long car trip!
